He ate a hearty breakfast and was taking his usual rest after that meal and felt as well as usual. There was no one present when he passed away. His aged companion was in another room attending to her household duties. Thinking that he had slept long enough she went to rouse him and found he had passed over the river. |

Description
|
His granddaughter Carol Reed Popp Rohr remembered visiting him when she was little. She recalled his high cheekbones and big smile. Aaron's daughter-in-law Rose Mary talked about what a gentleman he was. He would let his wife rest while he did indoor chores like washing the dishes and cleaning. He never swore, nor did he drink or smoke.
