Munich              Pictures           Next        Top

Our romantic trip began here! We easily went through the German entry process and had our passports stamped. After visiting the ATM to get some euros and purchasing some postcards in the airport, we picked up our rental car and managed to pack all of our luggage into it. We set up our GPS system, and Tony followed the directions to drive into downtown. We parked the car, walked around the central plaza in the rain, and saw the glockenspiel clock on the rathaus. At one of the oldest breweries in Munich, the Augustiner, we enjoyed our first German meal. I sampled the traditional apple juice drink, apfelsaftschorle, with my sausage and sauerkraut.
